Agent Smith, later simply Smith is a sentient computer program originally designed for Earth's Matrix as an Agent. Smith now serves as an assassin for Makuta's Matrix, which is in development.

Agent Smith once worked for the Matrix, but when he was deleted by Neo, he became a rogue virus. In the end, Smith was erased from the Matrix forever by Neo.

Smithcism is a religion wherein all followers worship Smith as a god. Smith will use this as an advantage in the Alpha War.
